A-V Services seeks an experienced Project Manager with overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects. The successful Project Manager will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet all deadlines.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collect Client/Line of Business requirements
- Review test fit drawings for room types, quantities, and layouts
- Create and provide any PDF markups of plans that will demonstrate or clarify intended A/V Solutions to management, stakeholders, or clients
- Manage A/V Deployment and A/V Vendors throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Manage budget and change control throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Perform jobsite inspections, as required, to ensure deployment progress and quality are in line.
- Attend all weekly internal and external project and team meetings
- Keep Project Tracker continuously up to date with current project status for entire portfolio of work
- Keep Operations regional leads apprised of deployment progress and any challenges that may arise, such as schedule delays or technology changes
- Issue weekly project status reports
- Meet all established milestones
- Insure that all project costs are within budget
- Maintain field presence during installation
- Schedule Operations walkthrough and handover dates with regional leads
- Arrange for End User Orientation/Training – typically provided by Operations staff
- Collect all final as-built drawings, DSP files, Programming codes and Asset information from AV Vendors
- Create Close-out folder in the Multimedia Summer folder and place all final documents and code in appropriate subfolders
- Manage MIT MACD Approved/Rejected queue to move all projects to “Completed” status with path to close-out folder & files
- Update MIT records to “Active” status for all completed rooms and submit MACD to Operations through MIT portal
- Send EMS notifications through MIT for all new rooms added to environment
- Collect all final invoices from vendors and submit to GRE PM and GTI PM for final payments to be made
- Update Project Tracker to move project to Completed status
Job Qualifications
- 4 to 5 years experience in AV field installations
- 3 years Managerial experience
- Computer Skills- Word, Excel, MS Project, Crestron, AMX, etc.
- Full understanding of audio and video programs
- Ability to travel
